Can I write an application on plain paper to get a PAN card?

In order to get the PAN card, one needs to opt for the registration form from the official website of NSDL. Irrespective of whether they are filling the form online or offline they will have to provide all the details in the form only. After the successful completion of the form submission, one will have to send all the mandatory document through post or courier services. So for availing the PAN card, you will always have to opt for the form instead of plain paper when it comes to following the protocol.
