I am thinking of starting a jeweler business can anybody tell me the percentage of excise duty charged on manufacturing of gold and silver jeweler? Also tell me about the exemption limit for registration?
Excise duty is applied at 12.5% on the jeweler items and the SSI exemption will be available upto 1.5 crores
