Saurabh Lal – Managing Partner

Saurabh is the founder and managing partner of Orionis IP. He provides intellectual property counseling to start-ups, technology incubators, bio-design entities, government and corporate organizations on issues of IP policies & strategies, portfolio creation & management and leveraging of IP rights. He also advises on exploitation, commercialization and enforcement of IP.

In the past, Saurabh has been associated with the premier firms in India like Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. He has also been associated with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, National Institute of Plant Genome Research, JNU and Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, New Delhi.

He is an Advocate and a registered patent agent in India with a Masters degree in Microbiology from University of Rajasthan, a Post Graduate Certification in Intellectual Property Rights (IP) from University of Washington, and an Advanced International Certificate Course on IP Management from WIPO.
