Misplacement- it is human nature to be a little forgetful which can lead to you misplacing your PAN Card and not being able to recall where. Damage- a PAN Card that is used over the years for various purposes might get damaged or bent and not be an eligible document anymore. Change of content- the PAN Card contains vital information and if you want any of that to be changed because of it happening with you like your address or your phone number, applying for a duplicate PAN Card is your only option.
